Beginner Level I Yoga Class

If you have never taken a yoga class, have little experience with yoga or would simply like to brush up on your technique this class is perfect for you. In the class for beginners we explore the active practice including standing, seated, twisting, folding and back bending postures including the sun salutation. You will become familiar with sanskrit terms, as well as yogic breathing, meditation and alignment while learning of the health benefits derived from a regular yoga practice (abhyasa). Self-acceptance, compassion and a willingness to open to and embrace the light that dwells within are emphasized.
