This is an active Yoga class for experienced practitioners that continues to strengthen the foundation of your asana, meditation, relaxation & pranayama practice in a safe and compassionately attended environment. Sun salutations and moon salutations are explained and explored, challenging parts of the process (for example knees chest and chin to cobra, chaturanga dandasana to upward dog) are examined, svadyaya (self-study) is emphasized together with flexibility, strength and balance, alignment, sequence, quietude, and breath work. A sample of offerings from this class could include: Sun Salutation, Warriors and their variations, deeper twists such as Revolved Triangle and variations, and deeper balances such as Ardha Chandrasana. There are NO major inversions or hand balances in this class. All kula-kamala-yoga classes include asana, meditation, relaxation, breathwork, and philosophy. Classes may include chanting.
