2014 Ocean County St. Patrick’s Day Parade in
Seaside Heights Marks 30th year Marching

Seaside Heights, NJ — January 13, 2014 — The Ocean
County St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Seaside Heights will commence March 8th
2014, proudly stepping off at 12 noon on the Boulevard in Seaside
Heights.  The parade route will follow
the Boulevard from Seaside Park through Seaside Heights passing the reviewing
stand in front of the police station Sheridan Avenue.  We are expecting over 20,000 participants
from the Jersey Shore area including marching bands, pipe bands, Irish-heritage
groups, leprechauns, smiling Irish eyes, St. Patrick  and of course all of our first responders and
volunteer groups who continue our rebuilding efforts.

The event celebrates the resilience of Jersey Shore, and to
bring the Luck of the Irish to the area.
We sure need it.   According to
Denis Kelly parade chairman, “The parade is normally attended by 75,000-85,000
people who are all Irish for the day.”
This is the premier event to kick of the 2014 tourism season and bring
spotlight to our local businesses, and residents, and community in its
rebuilding efforts.

2014 marks our 30th year marching and we will be
scheduling special guests this year including previous parade chairman,
specialty dance groups, a visit from St. Patrick himself, and some special
surprises.  It will be a great day, with
lots of fun for the whole family!   The boardwalk will be open along with the
local restaurants and pubs.  All of our
favorite local radio personalities will also be broadcasting from Irish points
of interest along the parade route, so stay tuned in.    Come
and help us create 30 more years of St. Patrick’s Day Parade Memories.
