Toms River AOH Irish Festival

On Saturday, June 14th, the Toms River Division of the Ancient Order of
Hibernians will host its 21st Annual Irish Festival at Veterans’ Park in Berkeley Township.  Admission is free although donations are accepted for the charitable work of the organization. Co-sponsored by the AOH New Jersey State Board, this year’s festival promises to be bigger and better than ever.

The Festival will begin at 10am with a Roman Catholic Mass in Irish. Entertainment will commence at 11am and will continue until the Festival ends at 5pm.  Two very popular Irish singing groups will provide music: the Eamonn
Ryan Band and Jamie and the Quietmen. Additionally, two award winning pipe and drum bands will march and perform: the Shamrock and Thistle Pipes and Drums and the Pipes and Drums of Barnegat Bay.  Rounding out the
entertainment will be traditional Irish dancing groups: the Mist of Ireland
Dancers and the Devrin Academy of Irish Dance.

Irish craft vendors, traditional Irish food vendors, traditional Irish, domestic and craft beers will be on site.  Bring the wee ones so they can enjoy the kiddie section, including pony rides and other childrens’ entertainment.
