The Toms River Area Branch of N.A.A.C.P. is hosting its 8th annual Back to School drive to assist families by providing school supplies for local children for the 2011 school year.

School supplies will be given out to local students Monday, August 15, 2011 at 7:00 pm at Wells Chapel A.M.E Church, 26 Center Street, South Toms River. Children/parents do not need to be members of NAACP to receive school supplies.
The following items are needed: book bags, crayons, markers, colored pencils, lunch boxes, rulers, notebooks, spiral notebooks, notebook paper, pencil sharpeners, 3-ring binder notebooks & dividers, pencil cases, dictionaries, small staplers and staple refills, tape & scissors, pocket calculators, pens & pencils, folders and erasers.
