If you're out of Girl Scout Cookies, you're in luck! Troop 204 will be holding a cookie booth sale on Friday, April 13th from 10am to 6pm at LOWE'S Home Improvement, 1375 Hooper Avenue, Toms River.
We are also promoting Gift of Caring. We have 76 boxes and our goal is 132. Gift of Caring boxes of cookies go to the Monmouth/Ocean Food Bank and to our military troops!! Boxes of cookies are $4 each.
We have 8 types of cookies: chocolate & coconut Samoas! shortbread Trefoils! Thin Mints! The funds from these sales help fund trips, events & activities for a girl in Girl Scouts. Camping, horseback riding, museum trips and many other learning activities. Cookie booths give the girls a chance to learn hands-on business skills. When running a booth sale they deal with goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics.
Troop 204 worked super hard the last month and worked 11 booth sales in Bayville, Toms River and LBI! The girls wore cookie costumes, Halloween costumes, crazy hats, created posters, set their goals and are enthusiastic about Girl Scouts.
