June Jamboree at Ocean County Animal Facilities

Ocean County Freeholder Director Gerry P. Little, Liaison to the Ocean County Board of Health, said, “Do not miss the opportunity to be part of the June Jamboree at the
Northern and Southern Animal Facilities on Saturday, June 23rd from 1 – 4 P.M. It is a great time to visit and this is may give you a wonderful opportunity to bring a new,
loving pet into your family.”

Brian Lippai, Manager of the Ocean County Animal Facilities, said, “The June Jamboree offers a variety of fun-filled and interesting activities for the entire family,
including games, contests, food, music and fun.” He added, “You will also have the opportunity to take a walk through the mobile adoption unit. We have many adorable kittens available for adoption. In addition, adoption fees will be waived on selected pets during this event.”

Lippai noted that people also have the opportunity to visit the Ocean County Animal Shelters throughout the year. The Northern Ocean County Animal Shelter is located at 615 Freemont Avenue, Jackson, and the Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter at 360 Haywood Road, Manahawkin. Freeholder Director Little added, “Each animal adopted from the Ocean County shelters is spayed or neutered, micro-chipped and age-appropriately vaccinated.”
