Barnegat Bay Foundation Inaugural Gala Kicks Off Annual Festival Weekend

The Barnegat Bay Foundation will hold an inaugural gala on May 31st at the Wanamaker Complex in Island Heights.

In conjunction with the 16th Annual Barnegat Bay Festival, the Barnegat Bay Foundation will hold an inaugural gala on May 31st at the Wanamaker Complex in Island Heights. The Gala will highlight the need to protect, restore and enhance the natural resources of the Barnegat Bay ecosystem.

“The Barnegat Bay watershed is very important to the South Jersey area, but it needs help in order to survive,” said Barnegat Bay Foundation Board Chair Mary Ann Bageac. “The foundation is holding this gala not only to raise funds, but to shine a light on the vital need to protect the watershed. Plus, it will be a fantastic evening - under a tent on the shores of the bay.”

Appetizers, hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and soft drinks will be served. Guests, dressed in summer casual attire, will enjoy live music and participate in a silent auction. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased by emailing bbwef@bbwef.org.
