Theodore Zaleski, M.D., J.D., Appointed Vice President of Clinical Effectiveness for Southern Ocean Medical Center

Theodore G. Zaleski, M.D., J.D., has been appointed Vice President of Clinical Effectiveness for Southern Ocean Medical Center. He assumed this role after a long and very successful record of excellence within Meridian Health in a variety of leadership, education and staff roles.

 

Dr. Zaleski is a Board Certified orthopedic surgeon with over 35 years of extensive medical experience. He completed medical school at Georgetown University, an internship and residency at Penn State University – Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, and residencies also at Wilmington Medical Center, The Children’s Hospital National Medical Center, and George Washington University Medical Center.

In addition to Dr. Zaleski’s medical training, he received a degree from Seton Hall University School of Law and is a current member of the New Jersey and Florida State Bar Associations. He is affiliated with professional organizations that include the American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the New Jersey Orthopaedic Society. Dr. Zaleski has authored numerous medical articles and given many professional presentations across the country.

Dr. Zaleski’s leadership experience includes having served at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ as Department Chair of Orthopaedic Surgery, President of the Medical Staff, Chair of the Rapid Response Team Committee, Chair of Quality Improvement and Outcomes, Physician Advisor to Case Management, Consultant to Wound Center/Hyperbaric and served on the Board of Trustees for Meridian Hospital Corporation.
