There are 2 kinds of laws in the land. We enjoy both natural and spiritual laws in this world. We can either honor or dishonor both of these laws. For example the law of electricity, electricity demands our respect. It can be a great blessing or it can be a great curse. It all depends on how we treat it. If you handle it with care it will be a great blessing to you. However, if you are careless with it can do great harm to you. The same would be true with the natural law of gravity. The law of gravity is wonderful if you respect its wisdom. What goes up must come down.
There are other natural laws that can override the law of gravity, such as the law of lift. The moment you get into an airplane with the law of lift, you are able to go beyond the law of gravity. Suddenly you can rise above its power.
There is the spiritual law of giving and receiving works for everyone. Rain falls on the just and unjust Matt 5:45. The laws God set up works for everyone.

If you sow love you’ll reap love. If you’re a sour puss then you’ll reap sour pusses.
Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you." NKJV

In Romans 8: 2 we find two laws mentioned pertain to us as believers. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (KJV)
The law of sin and death brought the world down to sin, sickness, poverty and fear. But the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus will cause you to rise above these things.
The law of sin & death brings the curse upon man, but the law of the Spirit of life will always bring blessings upon man.
The key is found in Christ Jesus. Are you in Christ? If you are then you are part of the blessing family. But if you’re not then you are part of cursed family. According to Galatians 3:13, you have been redeemed for the curse of the law. And if that is the case the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus will work for you.
Once you’re in the blessing family, you’ll be blessed with righteousness, prosperity (a good journey through life), healing, health and victory. God has reversed the CURSE for those who are IN CHRIST.
The next question would be, why is it then that so many of God’s children still seen to struggle with the curses of this world? In the book of Proverbs 26:2 we read, “The curse causeless shall not come”.
The Apostle Paul reveals why many of God’s children still remain under the curses of their natural families and the curse of the law still operates in their lives. Remember the curse causeless shall not come. There is a cause for it.
I receiving Communion 1 Cor 11:29-30, 29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30 For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. NKJV
Not discerning the Lords Body will cause the curse to come, but not discerning the Lords Body is more than not having respect for the wafer and juice represent. It to do with not believing in what Jesus Christ accomplished on the cross. It has to do with disrespecting the entire body of Christ and those that are among you.
1 Corinthians 3:16 says, Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? NKJV
This is talking about receiving false doctrine. False doctrine will defile the body in a sense that you’ll believe the wrong things and not be able to stand.
The next 2 verses have a lot to do with morality.
1 Corinthians 6:15-16, 15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! 16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For "the two," He says, "shall become one flesh." NKJV
2 Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people." NKJV
God wants us to live a Holy Life on this earth. When we say Holy we’re talking about having your hair in bun and wearing a black. We are talking about morality of the heart. We don’t need to be rocket scientists to figure out the world in gross morality. Just look at your TV, movies, magazines or computers. But in the middle of all this God wants to remain pure to Him. You see it’s a matter of your heart. In our hearts, we want to please God. The problem we face is our carnal nature. If the carnal nature is left unchecked it will do what it wants.
Another spiritual law that can contribute to the curse coming upon people is the law of sowing and reaping.
Gal 6:7-10 Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap. 8 For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9 And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint. 10 So then, as occasion and opportunity open up to us, let us do good [morally] to all people [not only being useful or profitable to them, but also doing what is for their spiritual good and advantage]. Be mindful to be a blessing, especially to those of the household of faith [those who belong to God's family with you, the believers].AMP
This law works for believers as well as unbelievers. Could can call it the “Law of Echoes” The world knows it as “what goes around comes around”
When we think of sowing and reaping we usually think of a farmer. Seedtime and harvest time for everything and there are many ways to sow.
One way is giving, praying and talking are ways of sowing. Our verse in Galatians 6:7 AMP says whatever a man sow, that and that only is what he will reap. What does that mean?
A farmer cannot sow corn seeds and expect to reap wheat, nor can he sow water melon seeds and expect squash. Whatever you sow that and only that will you reap. In the area of finances if you sow money, you will in return reap a harvest. I never said you’d be a millionaire. But one thing I can say, is this, if you’re a giver and you’re giving for the right reason, then God will always make sure you have more than enough. Jesus said in Luke 6:38 give and it shall be given to you good measure pressed down and shaken together. This goes for every area of life not just in finances. But them over in Philippians 4:19 it says “my God shall supply all of your needs according to His (Jesus) riches in glory.
Then we to consider our words as seed. What you say has a lot to do with what you receive. Proverbs. 12:21 Says that life & death are in the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit there of. In the Epistle of James, James warns about being doubled tongued, James 1:5-8, 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. NKJV
