Tributes Pouring In For Edwin Figueroa, 32, Toms River Native Who Died Suddenly

Tributes have been pouring in for Edwin A. Figueroa, Jr., 32, of Bayville, who died suddenly on Feb. 18, according the Mastapeter Funeral Home.

The father of three and Comcast cable employee's sudden death has drawn a number of tributes to the funeral home's web page and Facebook.

"Very sorry to hear of the passing of this wonderful youngman, my heart is broken for the family, family and Comcast co workers, we've lost a great person," one person wrote on the funeral home's website.

"Our hearts go out to you during this difficult loss. There are no words that can ease the pain and loss that you are feeling at this time. You are in our every prayer and our deepest condolences are with your family," another person wrote.

Born in Toms River, Figueroa was raised in Bayville and has resided here ever since. Eddie was employed with Comcast Cable of Toms River for the past 6 years. 

Figueroa is survived by his wife Jennifer; three children, Michael, Eddie and Norah; his mother and step-father Charlotte and David Diaz; his father Edwin Figueroa; two brothers, Stephen and David, and his in-laws, Kathleen and Paul Kenny. 

Visiting hours will be Sunday, Feb. 23rd, from 2-5 and 7-9pm at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. Funeral Monday, 10 a.m. at the funeral home before celebrating an 11am Funeral Mass at St. Barnabas Church, Bayville. Burial will follow to St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
