WINE TASTING TO STRENGTHEN COMMUNITY Ocean County YMCA Board Volunteers host first-time event for Community Campaign

February 17, 2012 - Ocean County, NJ – The Ocean County YMCA Board of Directors invites wine connoisseurs, foodies, art aficionados and music lovers to a first-time event to benefit the Y’s Annual Strong Kids Community Campaign. The wine tasting will be held on Saturday, March 31, 6:30PM at the Toms River home of Victoria Magliacane, Senior VP, Investors Bank, Ocean County YMCA Board Member and Event Co-Chair. Premium California wines have been selected and donated by Harvey L. York, Esq., Managing Partner, Novins, York & Jacobus, Ocean County YMCA Board Member Emeritus, Event Co-Chair and wine enthusiast.

“Every kid deserves to have a ball,” says John Maguire, VP, Deterrent Technologies Inc, Ocean County YMCA Board Member and 2012 Strong Kids Campaign Chair. “That’s what our annual campaign is all about- giving every kid in our community a chance to feel connected, secure and have fun,” added Maguire. The Ocean County YMCA’s Annual Strong Kids Campaign provides scholarship assistance for Ocean County families in need of Y programs and services.

With a mission centered on bringing families closer together, the Y encourages good health and fosters connections through fitness, sports, fun and shared interests. As a result, youth, adults and families are receiving the foundation they need. Supporting the Strong Kids Community Campaign positively impacts the lives of children in Ocean County.
