Christie "town hall" Tues. Feb. 25

I saw this online:

Berkeley Township will be the site of a town hall meeting orchestrated by Gov. Chris Christie on Tuesday, February 25th.

The town hall, during which Christie delivers a scripted monologue (song and dance routine) and then takes questions from the audience, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Holiday City Clubhouse 2, 631 Jamaica Boulevard. Christie will discuss the second round of federal funding for Superstorm Sandy recovery.

Doors to the clubhouse will open at 10:30... a.m., and people will be seated on a first-come, first-serve basis. You'd better get there early, or you may not get in. Once again, it's a daytime event in a Republican area, where seats seem to be reserved for friends of the governor.

It's essential to pre-register online in order to be granted 3 minutes to speak.

No bags will be permitted in the clubhouse, and personal items will be subject to search. As we've seen recently, state troopers will confiscate signs that the Christie crew doesn't like.

In addition, a mobile cabinet — featuring representatives from a number of state departments — will be held at the clubhouse immediately following the town hall, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sandy-affected residents are urged to bring their paperwork to the meeting in order to expedite the resolution of any issues.

Let's go -- and ask the important Sandy aid questions that Christie has seemed to avoid this year.
