Corrupt BOA

Attention taxpayers and employees of Toms River. Looking at the current Board of Education minutes an elementary school teacher from Jackson was hired for $55,000.That is ironic since the interim superintendent just recently came from Jackson Public Schools. It's also ironic because the person that was doing this job since the start of the school year could have been hired for $47,000, costing Toms River $8000 less. This information was brought to the interim superintendent's attention, but he couldn't recall making a connection to the hire although in the past he hired this individual's spouse as a supervisor. Even better according to the Asbury Park Press this individual was making $52,000 in Jackson. Good for this person but it seems like nepotism is continuing from the Ritacco years but with a new leader.
