Fischer "raceway" Blvd !!!

Please help by reading and signing the petitions to lower the speed limit to 35 MPH along Fischer Blvd. This Ave has been plagued with motor vehicle accidents for too long now. Its used by many motorist as a pass through from Hooper Ave to route 37. The Fatal Accident Investigation Unit within the Division of State Police reports that out of the 21 counties that make up NJ Ocean County ranks 3rd in crashes (47), 3rd in victims killed in crashes (52), 2nd in pedestrians being killed by motorist (16) and 1st in pedal cyclist (3) being killed by motorist. Our county roads ran 2nd in fatal crashes. The current speeds posted are too fast for the conditions. lowering the speed limit to 35 MPH would only increase travel time by one to one and half minutes if you traveled the entire length of Fischer Blvd. Is this too much of an inconvenience to ask to save lives and increase the safety of the public ? This is why I'm asking you to consider and sign the petition. They will be left at business around Fischer Blvd, Route 37 and Hooper Ave. Also you can go on "Care2's" Human Rights/ FISCHER "raceway" BLVD and sign a petition there.
