Could some good hearted citizen use a boat and photo Good Luck Point in Bayville. Our mayor isn't sure if it's underwater and the one photo I have seen doesn't mentiion the date, time or tidal status. Bayview Avenue floods all the time and no one ever cares and we who live there adjust. Now the only news we are getting is that maybe our homes are gone. Really comforting government in Berkeley which apparently is using trucks and hasn't thought of the zilions of boats non paid, non civil servants would donate with their time and effort because things are never done that neighborly way in our part of the world. Please help 36 families who were forced to leave even if on 10 foot pilings.

Helen, I'm in Bayville. Not sure if you've seen but they've reopened the roads. I'm on my way out -- I'll see if I can get a photo for you. Karen

Does anyone know anything about the bayside in Normandy Shores? I have a house on the lagoon and I am wondering if it is under water?

To my neighbors on vision beach, ortley nj. Roy and his mom stayed at the house thru the storm. They were rescued and are both at a hospital but doing well. Four homes were destroyed according to Roy. Bobs house, christine's Cathy's and Joes are gone. The remaining homes on that side are there and all the homes on Hanks side seem to be fine, although expect water damage as the water level was quite high. It seems that our 26 foot dune did its job.
