Where is the poll?

My vote is for Montedoro's on Fischer Blvd. The staff is always helpful, accommodating and courteous. The food is always fresh and homemade. Their sauces are outstanding as are their fresh pastas! Best Italian bread around. Why go anywhere else????

Mid Shore is a well established business. My family has been going there for many years. Besides the deli, with all the Italian favorites, you have home cooked specials daily and the best butcher shop around. I tried Montedoro once and they didn't even have fresh mozzarella that day. There were young kids working there that weren't very knowledgable. After that, I wouldn't give them another chance. Whenever I pass there, there are never any cars at all.

Didn't Toscano's close and someone else has it now?

Correct Mr. No Name.. and Toscano's is now " LA BELLA ABRUZZI " and it certainly gets my vote for Best Deli in toms river.. HMMMM . they make delicious panini sandwhiches and have plenty of REAL CHICKEN BREAST ( not deli meat) Plus they may or may not have THE BEST CANNOLI'S in Town!!

All these places suck.

Toms River DOESN'T have decent pizza, Chinese food or Italian deli. Toms River IS the MOST nowhere place in the country for ethnic food. You want good Italian deli?Get in your car, and drive to New York City!! Mulberry Street, in Little Italy. Somebody told me it's in the water, or something like that. Heck, WHAT do I know?
Apparently, nothing. I'll see you all at the Chili Cook-off, this weekend. Oh, you want GREAT chili? Go to The Miracle Pub, on Route 37 West, near Lakehurst Road. Chili, I know.

Great story! Glad to hear your on your way back. Also happy to see someone else noticing that inRead More some places it still looks like Sandy hit yesterday. Some mayors might consider that "complaining".
