Meatballs are delicious! And on MTV's "Jersey Shore," that means cast members Deena and Snooki, lovingly dubbed "the meatballs."
The two crack me up, and I'm so glad that Deena is a part of this third season of "Jersey Shore," it's really made for a more entertaining train wreck each week.
Tonight the meatballs get themselves pranked by The Situation after sticking marshmallows all over the place, wherever they'll stick: on the walls, the counters, pieces of "art" hung in the house, and then the duck phone. Well, then Mike decided that he'd be a "nice guy" and order some cabs for the girls to take them to their party destination for the night, which was supposed to be Jenks in Point Pleasant.
To their surprise, Mike had arranged for the cabbie to keep it a secret and sent the meatballs off on a journey to Times Square. Deena, a local from New Egypt, should have known that all you had to do to get to Point Pleasant from Seaside is get on Route 35 North for about 10-15 minutes at the most, and BAM, you are at Jenks. Stupid meatballs! But will this little prank of Mike's backfire? Read on.
Ronnie was in the need for a little TLC, so he called his Daddy to come down to the shore house to help him get outta his funk. Ronnie's dad talks him out of leaving, and to just concentrate on himself and get Sammi off his mind. Easier said than done I'm sure, but Ronnie's daddy does help make him feel better, and had a KILLER mustache to boot.
While out with dad, you can just see the crowds of people just surrounding them, taking pictures, walking in front of the camera man. The insanity of the mobs of people crowding around them is just so funny to me but they ARE celebrities so that just goes with the territory. You see all the faces blurred out, so even if you tried to step in front you'd be fuzzed out and removed of any bragging rights. So that kid who was like, "oh, watch the one with Ronnie and his dad, i'm totally in it." No you're not little man, and neither is your stupid sister.
The Seaside boards are hard enough to walk on a crowded summer night. The chaos of a trip from Midway Steakhouse to Funtown Pier to ride the carousel is even less of a straight line in cases like this.
While the meatballs were out to play, Jwoww stayed home to rest, and the Boys planned to head out for some grub. The Situation took a little too long to prettify himself, and in my opinion it could take weeks for him to get to be pretty.
Vinny, Pauly, and Ronnie end up leaving him behind and head over to Rivoli's Italian restaurant in Toms River. It's a short trip down Fischer Boulevard for huge — I mean Huge — portions, and I'm gonna have to try this place because the food looked delicious and I can eat. They boys chowed down without The Sitch, and cuts back and forth to Mike all alone back at the house lookin' for his boys and to the boys just munching away on their giant plates of pasta.
Jwoww comes to the rescue, and she and Mike head over to Beach Bar where he gets himself a manly sized meal, brings it back to the house, and we see him sitting all alone at their huge kitchen table. He pretends everyone else is sitting there with him, and has imaginary conversations with them all, and it was pretty hilarious. "Oh, Pauly, yea I got you that mini motorbike for your bday, but you couldn't wait for me to go to dinner, nah that's alright kid" Seems like he deserves it since he sent the Meatballs all the way to Times Square. Cry me a river.
Flash forward to Ronnie who keeps trying to call Sammi to apologize but she stands strong and says that she only wants them to be friends. At the end, Sammi shows back up at the Shore house and Ronnie is still a wreck.
Next week we'll see what happens between the two of them. Will Sammi cave in and accept Ronnie's apology, or will she be strong and move on. I'm dying to know myself, but we'll have to see where they're partying pleasures take them all next week.
