We want answers from NJ's candidates!

Christie, Loinegan, Buono and Booker have some questions to answer about FEMA's bungled Sandy recovery program and the exorbitant costs faced by millions of New Jerseyans for years to come.

- “Whoever will be New Jersey’s next Governor and Senator must be strong advocates for the state’s citizens,” he said, “and we believe it’s important that people understand the candidates’ positions on these crucial issues,” according to StopFemaNow.com

- We desperately need prompt beach replenishment and dune construction in a manner that will protect property and mitigate elevation and zone changes on FEMA flood maps.

- New Jersey must enact regulation and oversight of contractors engaged in the practice of elevating existing homes... and so much more must be done.

- NASA and NOAA scientists recently calculated that Sandy was a freak happening -- a once-in-700+-years storm -- so why should billions of dollars extra be spent on raising homes beyond FEMA's extra-high levels?  It's overkill!  Doesn't any candidate dare to address such issues?
