World Renew Record Assessment of Ocean County

Ocean County residents came through in the challenge and completed a record number of assessments with the World Renew Disaster Recovery Ministry Teams. Over One Thousand Sandy Survivors Shared their stories with the World Renew Teams to verify and substantiate the extent of major damages incurred through the super storm/hurricane Sandy. Those valuable surveys will be compiled into report form to present to various funding agencies to address the still unmet needs of the residents of Ocean County. Great job, AGAIN, World Renew and OCEAN COUNTY!  A special thanks to the organizations that generously volunteered the use of their site for the assessments. The Toms River Elks, Lacey Township Elks, Lighthouse Alliance Church in Tuckerton, Manahawkin Elks, Brick Township Elks, People's Pantry in Toms River, and Pt Pleasant Elks all generously contributed greatly to the success of the endeavor. The O.C. Dept of Human Services also had DRCC and Chaplains on site and The Hope and Healing counselors assisted as well. The Ocean County Long Term Recovery Group thanks all those who dedicated time, finances, and hard work to make a big job go so well. Thank You All !
