Three-Car Accident at Whittier Overturns Minivan, Hospitalizes One
Vehicle rolls to it's side and traps a female driver
An evening crash on Washington Street overturned one vehicle and sent an occupant to the hospital.
At approximately 9 p.m. at the intersection of Whittier and Washington streets, a minivan was hit and rolled to its side, trapping the female driver, police said.
Two other vehicles were impacted in the crash, which shuttered the intersection for about an hour.

Toms River Fire Companies 1 and 2 responded for the extrication as well as Toms River Police EMS and paramedics.
The condition of the trapped driver is not known at this time. No other injuries were reported at this time.
