4 Hurt in 2-Car Crash on Manchester Boulevard

The driver of one car and the driver and two passengers from a second were all injured in the wreck, police said.

A two-car crash on Manchester Boulevard sent four people to the hospital with multiple injuries early Sunday afternoon, Manchester Township Police said.

A Nissan Altima and Ford Explorer slammed head-on around 1:25 p.m. as both were heading through the curve on Manchester Boulevard, police said, forcing first responders to cut the Nissan’s driver free of the wreck.

That driver, Michelle L. Pisauro, 43, of Browns Mills, sustained internal and facial injuries in the accident, police said, and was rushed by ambulance to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, after a medical helicopter was grounded because of the weather.
