72-Year-Old Toms River Man ID'd As 'Suspicious Person' Arrested In Berkeley

A 72-year-old Toms River man who was reported to be a "suspicious person" was arrested on outstanding warrant in Berkeley, police said.

On Wednesday at 12:30 a.m., Ptl. Ed Hendrickson responded to the area of Mule Road for a report of a suspicious person. Further investigation revealed that the subject, identified as Juan Adams of Saint Clande Way Toms River, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from the Pine Hill Municipal Court.  

As a result Adams was arrested and transported to police H.Q. where he was processed and later released on his own recognizance, police said.
