Abundant Grace Church Burglarized, Robbed of Cash Register

Church on Route 571 robbed, surveillance image released

Toms River Police announced today that the Abundant Grace Church, Route 571, was robbed Oct. 29 of its cash register by a burglar caught on surveillance cameras.

Toms River Police Chief Michael Mastronardy said the surveillance video shows a man entering the church and removing the church's cash register. How much cash was in the register was not released.

The man is described as a white male, with a goatee, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants and gloves. The register is a Casio brand.

Police are encouraging anyone with information to call police headquarters and have released a video of the burglary in hopes of furthering the investigation.

The 18-second video focuses on an office area in the church, with a man with short hair pulling off his hood and stepping around the room.
