Barneget Police Arrest Toms River Man For Outstanding Child Support Warrant

Arrest took place at Atlantic Heights Apartments, police said

Barnegat police recently arrested a Toms River man for an outstanding child support warrant of $29,700, Lt. Keith Germain said.

Patrolman Bryan Nogowski arrested Juan Reyes, 46, at 9:53 a.m. on March 22, support warrant issued by the Ocean County Sheriffs Department.

Nogowski was at the Atlantic Heights apartments on a disturbance call when a records check revealed the warrant. Reyes was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River in default of bail, police said.

Guys who aren't paying child support get picked up and thrown in county for a few days at a time on a regular basis. What is so special about this guy that he gets the "honor" of his own write-up on the Patch?
