Burglar Steals Trimmers from Toms River Barber Shop

Was a burglar looking for a self-serve haircut?

Toms River police are investigating a burglary at Victor’s Barber Shop on Route 37 that occurred early Tuesday morning, Chief Michael Mastronardy said.

Unknown suspects used a rock to shatter a window on the Martin Road side of the shop to make entry, then stole Wahl, Oster and Andis electric trimmers and clippers valued at $2,000 before exiting the front door, said Mastronardy.

Corporeal Louis Sulsenti is in charge of the investigation, the chief said.
