Cash, Dope Seized As Two Face Charges
Heroin, pills, pot and more than $23,000 were seized in a raid at 8 Rickard Court.
Two township residents are facing drug charges after police seized heroin, oxycodone, Xanax, marijuana and $23,220 in cash in a raid of their residence at 8 Rickard Court, Ocean County Prosecutor Marlene Lynch Ford said today.
Joseph Marsh, 26, and Tanya Sturr, 27, were charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of controlled dangerous substances with intent to distribute, and other drug possession charges, Ford said in a statement.
Superior Court Judge James Blaney set bail for Marsh at $30,000 with no ten percent option. Sturr's bail was the same, Ford said.

Detectives from the Prosecutor’s Special Operations Group and members of the Toms River Police Department executed a search warrant of Marsh and Sturr's residence on October 26. Police seized 150 bags of heroin, approximately 140 Oxycodone pills, approximately 10 Xanax Bars along with a quantity of marijuana, as well as the cash, Ford said.
Ford said the Toms River Police ESU Team and K-9 Units were also involved in the investigation and executing the search warrant.
