Cops: Toms River Woman Had Heroin, Wax-Folds, Hypodermic Needles

She allegedly possessed empty heroin wax-folds that contained residue of the drug; several hypodermic needs; and a straw with heroin residue.

A 28-year-old Toms River woman was arrested in Wall last week on heroin charges, according to Monmouth County Courthouse records.

Christie McCready was arrested on Thursday and charged with having a controlled dangerous substance, court records say.

She allegedly possessed empty heroin wax-folds that contained residue of the drug; several hypodermic needs; and a straw with heroin residue.

McCready also allegedly obtained prescription drugs that were not prescribed by a physician, court records say.

McCready was arrested on $1,000 bail. She's scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday at 8 a.m.
