Court Blotter: Drug Arrests Lead to Indictments

Recent Ocean County grand jury indictments

Durrell L. Warford, 30, of Edgewood Drive, Toms River, and Jahad A. Evans, 32, of Wellington Avenue, Manchester, were indicted by an Ocean County grand jury for having cocaine and planning to distribute it Aug. 26 in Toms River. At the same time they are accused of having a Hi-Point 9mm pistol while engaged in drug activity. Both are free on $50,000 bail.

Also indicted recently, according to court records:

  • Point Pleasant Beach man is accused of having heroin and methadone in Toms River on March 18, according to an indictment returned against him by an Ocean County grand jury. Dylan T. Spader, 18, of Seymour Avenue, is charged with having the drugs on March 18, and possessing the methadone without a prescription. He is free on $5,000 bail.
  • Miriam Murrar, 20, of Center Street and Leonard J. Desaro, 55, of Bobwhite Court, both of Forked River, along with Matthew J. Rauf, 24, of Montana Drive, Jackson, for having cocaine and Oxycodone in Toms River on April 9.
  • Steven P. Allegretto, 30, of Lake Placid Drive, and John P. Pannucci, of Ottawa Court, both of Toms River, for having Oxycodone, Alprazolam, and Phenobarbital on Jan. 23 in Toms River and intending to distribute the Oxycodone.
  • Carolyn West, 39, of Stanford Drive, Bayville, having suboxone April 8 in Toms River.
  • Roderick J. Seward, 42, of Malta Court, Toms River, for having cocaine and planning to distribute it within 500 feet of the Roberto Clemente Park in Lakewood on Feb. 10.
