Court Blotter: Indictments for Theft, Drugs in Toms River
Ocean County recent grand jury indictments
Ocean County grand juries recently indicted:
- Gabriel S. Frigerio of Toms River and Steven C. McDuffie of Lakewood on drug charges.
The pair were arrested Dec. 9 and accused of two counts of obtaining oxycodone by fraud in Lacey and Berkeley. Both also were indicted on charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession with intent to distribute.
- Jeffery D. Madera of Toms River on three counts each of burglary and theft charges.
Madera is accused of breaking into three vehicles in Toms River on Feb. 8, including a Subaru Impreza, Mazda CX-9 and Mazda CS-X.

Authorities said he stole gift cards, a cellphone and necklace from the Subaru; a Nook and wallet from the CX-9; and a Tom Tom GPS from the CS-X.
He was initially held on $10,000 bail but posted Feb. 9.

- Jane M. Strich of Toms River on a possession of heroin charge out of Seaside Heights.
Strich was released on a summons.
