A Brick Township woman suffered a minor injury in a crash on Route 571 near the corner of North Bay Avenue in Toms River, police said.
The crash occurred before 12 noon Wednesday, according to Toms River police spokesman Ralph Stocco.
Karen Dimicco, of Brick, was driving her 2005 Ford Explorer when the vehicle went off the road and crashed into a utility pole, Stocco said. Dimicco was treated for a minor injury as a result.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by Cpl. Frank Palino and Ptl. Brian Doyle, both of the Traffic Safety Unit, Stocco said.
