Minor tidal flooding was reported in the Green Island section of Toms River on Monday.
Township officials said the back bay high tide was at 2:15 p.m.
Forecasters say the next several high tide periods could also result in some flooding across the Jersey Shore's back bay areas. The next high tide will occur at 2:36 a.m. Tuesday in the back bay on the mainland side.
At Ocean Beach on the island side, high tide will occur at 2:27 a.m. Tuesday.
According to the National Weather Service, strong northeast winds over the course of this week may lead to some tidal flooding through the weekend.
