Over Four Thousand JCP&L Customers Without Power In Toms River
Power restored to 12,500 following violent thundersorm
Now that's it's daylight Jersey Central Power and Light Company will be able to get a better handle on the power outage affecting 4,248 customers in Toms River Township, a company spokesman said.
At one point approximately 16,500 customers were without power following last night's violent thunderstorm, said Mike Obremski, a JCP&L spokesman.
The outages are scattered throughout the township, Obremski said.

"It's too early to make a call as to when power will be fully restored," said Obremski.
