Lacey Police Arrest Toms River Man On Drug Charge, Warrants

Residents' complaint leads to investigation

A Toms River resident faces drug charges after Lacey police responded to a call made by residents.

Jordan Scott, 19, was arrested when police encountered him in the area of Clairmore Avenue, Lacey Township. Residents on Clairmore called police at 2:13 a.m. May 8 complaining about unwanted guests.

While investigating the neighborhood, police found Scott. Scott had an outstanding warrant from South Toms River for $250. During the arrest, police discovered Scott had concealed prescription pills, police said.

Scott was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance as well as an additional warrant of $10,000. He was sent to Ocean County Jail.
