Lacey Police Nab Toms River Man Wanted on Drug Charges

Man was wanted on a $5,000 warrant

Lacey Police arrested a Toms River resident after Officer Dimitrios Tsarnas discovered he was wanted.

George Boustania, Jr., 51, was arrested on an Ocean County warrant for $5,000 with no 10 percent option at approximately 7:04 p.m. on Feb. 13.

Officer Dimitrios Tsarnas conducted a motor vehicle stop on a Ford SUV. Through his in-car computer system, Tsarnas found that the driver, Boustania, was wanted on the warrant.

According to Ocean County Jail’s inmate information, Boustania was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Boustania allegedly possessed schedule I, II, III and IV substances.

He was transported to the Lacey Township Police Department for processing. Unable to post bail, he was sent to the Ocean County Jail.
