Toms River Woman Faces Shoplifting Charges in Lacey

A Toms River woman has been arrested for shoplifting in Lacey.

Lacey police arrested 20-year-old Jessica Bachefski of Toms River on Nov. 28 after they say an asset protection officer at the Lanoka Harbor Walmart store alerted them that a female shopper placed several items into her pocketbook and attempted to leave without paying.

The items allegedly stolen included four cell phone cases, eyebrow makeup, two eye shadows, three "Phone Bling” screen protectors, RMI GeMONO, elastic hair ties, nail polish, and HC Mini Lash.

Bachefski was transported to Lacey Township Police headquarters where she was fingerprinted and photographed, police said. She was also issued a summons for shoplifting and released awaiting a court date.

The total value of the stolen property was $75.13, police said.
