Missing Point Girl Found Safe in Toms River

Allison Chirichello was brought to Point Boro P.D. by her father

was found safe in Toms River by her father on Thursday night and brought to the Point Borough police department, according to her mother.

Allison Chirichello, who wil be a junior at Point Borough High School in September, was alone on Route 37 in Toms River when her father, Thomas Chirichello, found her and drove her to the Point Borough police department, according to what Thomas Chirichello told Colleen Molok, Allison's mother, Molok said. Thomas Chirichello lives in Middletown.

Molok said that when she saw Allison at the police department, she noticed she was wearing different clothing than what she left her Borough home, when she ran out with nothing but her sister's cell phone and no money.

Molok said she does not know all of the details regarding where her daughter has been, why she was in Toms River and how she came to be found by her father.

Molok said she is tremendously appreciative of all the relatives, friends, neighbors and area residents who were trying to help find her daughter and sending prayers and good wishes.

She said she prefers not to discuss the issue further at this time because she feels it is a private family matter.
