Motorcyclist Thrown 25 Feet In Fischer Boulevard MVA

Two transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center Trauma Unit

Toms River police are investigating a motorcycle accident that occurred 730 a.m. Saturday. 

Donald Bottomley, 79, of Island Heights, was eastbound on Delaware Avenue attempting a left turn onto Fischer Boulevard when he collided with a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle that was southbound on Fischer Boulevard, according to Toms River Police Chief Michael Mastronardy.

The motorcyclist, Glenn Morehouse, 52, of Yellowbank Road, Toms River, was ejected from the bike and thrown 25 feet.

Both drivers were transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center Trauma center in Neptune Township.  

Traffic Safety Officer Terry Warren is the investigating officer.
