16-year-olds damaged mailboxes and cars, according to police

A pair of teenagers from Brick were charged with criminal mischief after police said they damaged cars and mailboxes near Hunt Drive Saturday night.

Officers Adam Worth and Ron Bayer responded to a report on the street at 11:30 p.m. Saturday night, said Toms River Chief of Police Michael Mastronardy.

A resident who witnessed the vandalism helped lead to the arrest of the 16-year-old males, who Mastronardy said were in the area attending a party.
