Part Of Lakehurst Road To Be Closed Most Of Today Due To Accident, Police Chief Says
Utility work needs to be done between Patmas and Silver Ridge drives
Police have closed Lakehurst Road between Patmas and Silver Ridge drives for most of the day after a one-car accident early this morning, Police Chief Michael G. Mastronardy said.
The driver was traveling westbound on Lakehurst Road when she lost control of her car shortly before 7 a.m. and struck a utility pole at the intersection with Patmas Drive, the chief said.
"Please avoid Lakehurst Road," Mastronardy said.

The driver was not injured in the crash. Trafety Safety Corporal Frank Palino is investigating, he said.
