Toms River Police responded to a one-car accident on Hooper Avenue this morning, with a pick-up truck smashing into a utility pole near South Shore Drive.
The incident occurred around 8:15 a.m. today and slowed traffic along the Hooper Avenue corridor near South Shore Drive.
A witness reported to Toms River Patch that the driver of the pick-up was able to get out of the vehicle following the crash, but that the truck sustained heavy damage from the impact.
