Reports from Toms River Police Chief

Police reports as released by Toms River Police Chief Michael Mastronardy:

Driver moves to passenger seat after allegedly causing accident

Toms River Police arrested Pamela Casiero, 26, of Lanoka Harbor for driving while intoxicated after she stuck the rear of a vehicle on Route 37 and Douglas at midnight Sunday morning.

Casiero’s vehicle struck a Dodge that was in the middle lane just coming off the Tunney Bridge. According to witnesses Casiero was driving erratically prior to the crash and after the collision exited the driver’s side and sat in the passenger’s side and attempted to claim someone else was driving.  Besides driving while intoxicated she was charged with reckless driving, and following too close.  Officer James Carey made the arrest.

Davis fled the scene and was running through back yards and was apprehend in the rear yard of a residence on Bud Court. Davis was transported to Community Medical Center where he was admitted for his injuries.

He has been charged with DUI and numerous other motor vehicle charges.

Pam, is this your relative ??? By your comments I think so....If my child and I, had ANY control over this child/car she wouldn't be driving for a long time...If she use's my address on ID, then I can be sued by her stupidity..ain't gonna happen @ my address.Even if they HAVE their own Ins. policy , but use YOUR address , you're responsible , if they are sued for more than their Ins. coverage..so they can come after your home ...ask your agent if you don't think THIS is so.... but IT is NJ & You together !

NOT TO SURE WHAT THIS COMMENT IS SUPPOSE TO MEAN YOU DO NOT SEEM TO HAVE THE HIGHEST INTELLIGENCE & IF YOU NOTICED SHE IS NOT A CHILD !!! EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES & HOPEFULLY SHE HAS LEARNED FROM IT. WHO'S TO SAY WHAT ANYONE WOULD DO IF THEY ARE IN THIS SITUATION & SCARED. YOU CAN NEVER JUDGE ANYONE FOR WHAT THEY DO . BELIEVE ME THE NEWS DOES NOT ALWAYS PORTRAY THE TRUE STORY & YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT MAY HAVE BEEN HAPPENING IN SOMEONE'S LIFE TO MAKE YOU DO THE THINGS THAT YOU DO.
