Police Blotter: Intoxicated Man Falls into Construction Site, Charged With Stolen Ring
Two reckless driving incidents
Toms River Police responded to a call that an allegedly intoxicated male fell into a construction site at Ocean View Suites, Route 37, just before 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
Officers James Carey and Joseph Mastronardy located Dashawn Harrison, 20, covered in mud at the site. The officers attempted to get family members to assist, but after investigating they found a ring in Harrison's possession that was stolen from one of the family members, according to Police Chief Michael Mastronardy.
Harrison was then lodged in the Ocean County Jail on $2,000 bail and charged with possession of stolen property.

Woman Rolls From Car After Attempted Motor Vehicle Stop
Officer Shan Ruiz attempted to stop a motor vehicle at 1:30 a.m. Saturday on Route 166. The vehicle sped off on Old Freehold Road then turned onto Walnut Street. At Parkcrest the Officer observed the vehicle strike a curb and a female passenger roll out of the vehicle.

Toms River Police EMS transported the 21-year-old Forked River woman to Community Medical Center with a knee injury. The driver of the vehicle, Justin Wilson, 21, of 5th Bayway, Toms River, was stopped on Rosewood Drive. Officer Ruiz issued Wilson a summons for reckless driving. The Forked River woman was not identified.
Jeep Strikes Two Utility Poles, Then House
At 4 a.m. police responded to an accident where a vehicle left the road and struck two utility poles then a house on James Street.
Lori Kemerson-Mackey, 42, of Toms River, was, according to a witness, behind her vehicle eastbound on James Street in a 2001 Jeep.
The jeep struck a utility pole, drove in reverse and struck another utility pole before going forward again striking a stop sign and finally the porch of 161 James Street.
Kemerson-Mackey was transported to Community Medical Center with minor injuries.
Officer Adam Koeppen issued summons for failure to maintain lane, failure to wear a seatbelt and reckless driving. Other charges are pending.
