Police Searching For Man Observed Trying Door Handles On Old Church Road
Law enforcement officials continue to get numerous reports of unlocked cars being entered
A resident on Old Church Road, Toms River, reported on Friday that on Thursday morning at around 6 a.m. she witnessed a male trying door handles on her neighbor's cars, according to a official.
When the resident went to approach the suspect he entered a four-door bluish-green Toyota and fled the area. Later she realized the suspect entered her unlocked vehicle, broke a pair of glasses but removed no proceeds.
The suspect is described as white with a thin build, about 5'9" tall. He was last seen wearing beige shorts, a black shirt, and white socks and sneakers.

The incident is being investigated by Toms River Police Officer Travis Seaman.
Police said they continue to get numerous reports of unlocked vehicles being entered throughout the township.
