Police Seek Information After Suspicious Persons Incident

Man looked through Frontage Road bedroom window and drove off, police said

Toms River police ask that anyone with information about a suspicious persons incident — during which a Frontage Road woman said a man peered into her home — contact the department.

The 47-year-old victim reported that she heard her dog barking Wednesday and when she looked out of her bedroom window she saw a man looking in, according to Chief of Police Michael Mastronardy.

"She yelled at him and the subject, a black male about 5 foot 7 inches, 200 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black jacket and dark jeans, ran to and entered a red four door sedan that was parked in front of the house,"Mastronardy said. "A witness reported that she observed a white female in the vehicle about 20 years old with dark curly hair and wearing big sunglasses."
