Heroin overdoses in some New Jersey counties have doubled. One suburban and rural county,  Cape May, has found itself topping the reported per capita list of heroin abuse cases - ahead of Essex and others.

Heroin has become an exponentially growing problem in New Jersey. Yet, some say the one voice that has been largely silent on the issue is the Christie administration. Others say the Christie administration has done what it can to give law enforcement agencies the tools to deal with overdose cases.
