Residents Indicted on Drug Charges

Pair had cocaine and oxycodone, indictment claims

Three Toms River residents were indicted on drug charges recently by

Jennifer and Heather Mergogey, both of Neville Street, were arrested June 8 on drug charges after police said they were caught with cocaine and oxycodone.

Each were charged with two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and both also were indicted on a possession with intent to distribute charge based on the less than a half-ounce of cocaine police said they found.

Jennifer and Heather Mergogey were both initially held on $100,000 bail, no 10 percent option; Jennifer posted June 8; Heather posted June 9.

In a separate indictment, grand jurors upheld two counts of drug possession against a Jamaica Boulevard man.

Alexsander A. Arbuzow was found to be in possession of heroin on two occasions, June 10 and June 13, the indictment stated.

Arbuzow was released on a summons.
