Robbery Reported at Toms River Chase Bank Branch
Details sketchy, but a handgun reportedly shown
Police are responding to a reported robbery at the Chase Bank branch on Highland Parkway, Chief Michael Mastronardy said.
The robbery, the chief said in an e-mail, just occurred.
Initial reports point to a white male, 5-foot-8 with a thin build, wearing a blue mask and glasses armed with a hand gun as being the suspect.
Mastronardy said more information will be available as police investigate.
