Mary Frances Yurkel of Toms River said the search continues for her mother's pet dog Fiona, and though it is days after burglars kicked in the front door of her mother's home and took valuables, the family remains hopeful.

"We haven't heard anything from anyone...We are still hopeful someone will come forward with some information," Yurkel said.
