Seen Her? Suspected Purse-Snatcher In Ocean County Stole $900+ In Goods

Police officers are looking for a suspected purse snatcher who stole more than $900 worth of goods.

On March 10, Brick officer Joseph Rossi responded to the Shop-Rite located at 744 Route 70, for a report of a purse that had been stolen. Police determined the purse had been taken from the store by an unknown woman.

Shortly thereafter credit cards contained in the purse were used to make purchases in excess of $900.00 at several local stores and gas stations, police said.

It appears another female was also involved in the use of the credit cards.  Attached to this story are pictures of both females involved.

The older female in the pictures is the subject that initially was observed leaving the Shop-Rite with the victim’s purse. It is believed that these subjects left the area in an older model Mazda Tribute.
